Vietnamese businesses will have opportunities to share experiences and cooperate with Italian leading companies at the up-coming fair “Marching Show” to be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the organising board, the event, which will take place from January 11-14, will see the participation of 30 Italian companies involved in consumer goods, machinery and industrial facilities.
Since Vietnam and Italian established diplomatic ties in 1973, the latter has so far invested in 31 projects in Vietnam with a combined capital of over US$130 million, ranking 33rd among 81 foreign investors in the country.
In terms of trade, in the January-November 2008, two-way trade turnover between the two countries hit over US$1.46 billion, growing at an average 20-30 percent a year.
