Ca Mau targets seafood exports

The southern province of Ca Mau aims to earn US$675 million in seafood exports this year, according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Shrimp remain the key export item, and the US, Japan, EU, Australia, Canada, Russia and China are still the most promising importers.

The province has also set a goal of US$1 billion from seafood exports in 2010.
