The MHI AEROSPACE Viet Nam (MHIVA) was granted an investment licence to build an aircraft component manufacturer in Thang Long industrial park in Ha Noi's outskirt district of Dong Anh on January 10.
The 11.2 million USD plant will produce and process metal components for commercial aircraft.
The plant is scheduled to be officially operational in June next year.
MHIVA was established by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), the first manufacture in the world to locate its aircraft-related production facility in Viet Nam.
