Total export turnover of the Central Highland province of Lam Dong rose more than 12.4% in 2008, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
Coffee turnover reached US$141.5 million, accounting for 49.4% of the total turnover.
Covering an area of more than 123,000ha, the whole province harvested over 282,600 tonnes of coffee - ranking it 2008’s second largest producer after Da’k Lak Province.
